Play with me

To inspire baby’s hearing, softly shake the star on one side of baby’s head so that she can hear the jingle sound. She will turn her head toward the sound. As baby gets older, place the star in her hands and encourage her to shake it and pass the star from hand-to-hand, encouraging two-handed play.

Look at baby, she’s a star! Hold the mirror in front of baby and point to it, showing her that she appears in the mirror. Looking into the mirror encourages baby’s sense of self. As she gets older, baby will recognize herself in the mirror.
